Product Supply, Manufacturing & Delivery

Review the operational, sourcing, inspection, logistics, and acceptance details to confirm when purchasing laboratory equipment.

Understand the details before making a decision

Manufacturing origin, production arrangements, inspection scope, stock status, lead times, shipping terms, and service coverage are transaction-specific. This page provides a buyer’s due-diligence checklist; it does not represent unverified manufacturing facilities, inventory, delivery commitments, or certifications as Aurevant capabilities.

01 · Supplier identity

Identify the responsible organizations

Clarify the roles of the legal seller, legal manufacturer, brand owner, exporter, importer, and any local representative. These roles can differ and should be documented.

  • Registered legal entity and contracting party
  • Legal manufacturer and manufacturing site, where applicable
  • Country of origin and product traceability information
  • Local importer or authorized representative responsibilities
02 · Product configuration

Freeze the agreed scope before order

The quotation and purchase order should describe the exact equipment and included items. Avoid relying on informal descriptions or assumed standard accessories.

  • Model, configuration, options, and accessories
  • Included software, licenses, and interface components
  • Reagents, starter kits, controls, and consumables if included
  • Installation, commissioning, and training scope
03 · Inspection and release

Agree on inspection and acceptance criteria

Define what will be inspected, which records will be supplied, who witnesses tests if required, and how non-conformities will be handled.

  • Factory or pre-shipment inspection scope
  • Serial number and configuration verification
  • Functional testing and release documentation
  • Acceptance criteria, exceptions, and corrective actions
04 · Logistics

Confirm shipment and delivery responsibilities

Shipping responsibilities and risk transfer depend on the agreed contract and Incoterm. Confirm the named place, version of the rules, insurance, customs, and import responsibilities.

  • Quoted lead time and its starting event
  • Named delivery place and agreed Incoterm edition
  • Packing, handling, insurance, and freight responsibility
  • Export documents, customs clearance, duties, and taxes
05 · Installation

Plan site readiness and commissioning

Delivery is not the same as readiness for operation. Confirm site prerequisites, installation responsibilities, commissioning checks, and the handover process.

  • Site preparation and utility requirements
  • Delivery access, unloading, and placement
  • Installation, calibration, and acceptance testing
  • Operator training and handover records
06 · After-sales

Document warranty and service arrangements

Support must be understood before purchase, especially when equipment is used in a time-sensitive laboratory workflow. Obtain written, region-specific terms.

  • Warranty start date, duration, exclusions, and claims process
  • Preventive maintenance and service response arrangements
  • Spare-parts sourcing and expected availability
  • Technical support channels and escalation process

What should be confirmed in writing

Technical capabilities, assay compatibility, performance, regulatory status, manufacturing origin, inspection, availability, delivery, warranty, and service coverage are not universal promises. They depend on the exact product, configuration, destination market, and transaction. Request current, product-specific evidence and check its revision, scope, issuing organization, and applicability before relying on it.

A general website description is not a substitute for the product labeling, instructions for use, validated performance evidence, regulatory authorization, or a written commercial agreement. Do not use an instrument or diagnostic product outside its stated intended purpose and applicable local requirements.

Information that helps us respond

For a focused inquiry, include your country and organization, laboratory type, approximate daily workload, required tests or assays, specimen types, LIS or connectivity requirements, installation environment, target timeline, and any model or product reference you are considering. List the exact documents or commercial details you need. If something is not yet known, mark it as undecided rather than guessing.
