Product questions
Yes. The analyzer is designed as an open system. Aurevant Medical supplies fully validated applications for its own reagents. Laboratories may also use additional reagents that they have validated under their own quality management system, provided local regulations permit this practice.
The system supports serum, plasma, urine, CSF and other body fluids that have been validated for the specific assay. Always consult the individual assay instructions for the exact sample type, anticoagulant and any required pre-treatment.
Yes. Dedicated STAT positions and software prioritization allow urgent samples to be processed ahead of the routine workload without interrupting the current run.
Daily: probe exterior and interior cleaning, water system check, waste level check, and visual cuvette inspection. Weekly and monthly maintenance tasks are detailed in the operator manual. The software also provides predictive maintenance alerts.
Yes. Full bi-directional communication is supported using HL7 and ASTM protocols over TCP/IP or RS-232. Configuration assistance is available from Aurevant Medical technical support.
In the large majority of cases yes. The flexible HL7/ASTM interface can be mapped to most modern LIS platforms. Aurevant Medical can provide interface documentation and, if required, remote support during the connection process.
When the automatic wash cycle is used correctly and only recommended cleaning solutions are employed, the hard-glass cuvettes typically support many thousands of tests. Exact lifetime depends on the assay mix and adherence to maintenance procedures.
Yes. An optional ISE module for Na⁺, K⁺ and Cl⁻ can be added, increasing total throughput to approximately 400 tests per hour.
