Overview
The Aurevant AV-Semi 150 is a next-generation smart semi-automatic biochemistry analyzer developed by Aurevant Medical. It bridges the gap between traditional semi-automatic instruments and fully automated systems by combining a high-precision optical bench with intelligent software, cloud connectivity and operator-assistance features.
The analyzer uses a flow-cell photometer with a quartz-window optical path and a set of high-quality interference filters. Temperature is precisely controlled by a Peltier element at 25 °C, 30 °C or 37 °C, and a built-in 12-position dry-bath incubator is integrated for convenient sample and reagent pre-incubation. A large 7-inch capacitive touchscreen, multi-language voice prompts, real-time reaction curve display and comprehensive Levey-Jennings quality-control tools significantly reduce training time and the risk of operator error.
Cloud connectivity allows laboratories to download validated test parameters, back up results and receive software updates. The system supports endpoint, kinetic, fixed-time and turbidimetric methods and is suitable for the full range of routine clinical chemistry assays performed in smaller laboratories or as a dedicated STAT / backup instrument in larger facilities.

Safety Information
Operate the Aurevant AV-Semi 150 only after reading the operator manual and receiving appropriate training. Connect the instrument exclusively to a properly grounded mains outlet. Always wear laboratory gloves, coat and eye protection when handling patient samples or reagents. Treat every biological specimen as potentially infectious. Use only cleaning solutions recommended by Aurevant Medical for the flow cell. Never attempt to open the instrument covers while the power is on. At the end of each working day, clean the flow cell thoroughly and leave it filled with distilled water to prevent crystallization or blockage. Dispose of all chemical and biological waste according to local regulations. In the event of a spill, reagent contact with skin/eyes, or any instrument error that cannot be cleared by the on-screen instructions, follow your laboratory’s safety procedures and contact Aurevant Medical technical support.

Is the AV-Semi 150 a fully automatic analyzer?
No. It is a smart semi-automatic analyzer. The operator still aspirates the sample and reagent, but the instrument provides extensive software guidance, voice prompts, real-time curves and QC tools that make operation faster and safer than traditional semi-automatic systems.
Can test parameters be downloaded from the cloud?
Yes. When the analyzer is connected to the internet (Wi-Fi or Ethernet), validated Aurevant applications and parameter sets can be downloaded directly into the instrument.
Does the analyzer have a built-in incubator?
Yes. A 12-position Peltier-controlled dry-bath incubator (25 °C / 30 °C / 37 °C) is integrated, eliminating the need for a separate external incubator for most routine assays.
What is the measuring volume of the flow cell?
The flow cell has an optical path of 10 mm and a measuring volume in the range of 18–32 µL, allowing economical reagent use.
How many results can be stored?
The instrument stores at least 100 000 patient results together with their reaction curves. Additional long-term archiving is available via the cloud service.
Is an external printer supported?
Yes. In addition to the built-in 57 mm thermal printer, any standard USB printer can be connected.
Can I use reagents from other manufacturers?
Yes, provided your laboratory has validated the reagent application under its own quality management system and local regulations permit it. Aurevant Medical supplies fully validated applications for its own reagent range.
What maintenance is required daily?
Daily maintenance consists of cleaning the flow cell with the recommended solution, rinsing with distilled water, checking the printer paper and verifying that the incubator and optical system pass the start-up checks. Full details are given in the operator manual.
